2022

– Founded and led a transformative summer camp in Faralya Village, Turkey, to enhance English and Math education for rural students.
– Engaged with the local community to develop and implement the program.
– Launched the camp in summer 2022, growing from 17 children in the first year to 33 in the third year.
– Created a comprehensive curriculum covering English, Math, Chess, art, and sports, for children aged 8-15.

2023

– Recruited and trained volunteers from Detroit, Istanbul, Atlanta, Philadelphia, enhancing volunteer and project diversity and outreach.
– Secured significant media coverage in Turkey, including national TV (NTV, Beyaz TV), 20+ websites, newspapers, and radio stations.
– Organized guest lectures by professionals in engineering, dentistry, design, and advertising, enriching participants’ learning experiences.
– Hosted a seasoned global traveler to share insights on global cultures with the village children.
– Partnered with local artisans for hands-on traditional carpet weaving experiences, fostering appreciation for local crafts.

– In the third year of the initiative, we expanded the educational program to include a second village in the summer of 2024 in Devecatagi Village, Kirklareli.
– Further extended the program’s reach to one additional village in Konya the summer of 2025.
– Currently working on expanding the project beyond these three villages.

Raised $3,800 through a nonprofit organization I started to hire a swim instructor, teaching Faralya village children how to swim and addressing drowning, the third leading cause of unintentional death among children aged 5-13.
